Matthew Hancock MP has welcomed the news that thanks to the Conservatives, housing association tenants in England will be eligible to buy their housing association home and will soon be able to register their interest.
Matt Hancock has been appointed Minister of State for Business, Energy and Enterprise and the Minister of State for Portsmouth. This means Matt is no longer the Minister for Skills and will leave the Department of Education, working instead across the Department of Energy and Climate Change and the Department for Business Innovation and Skills. He will now attend cabinet.
Unemployment in West Suffolk has fallen by a further 38% since April last year. All areas of West Suffolk are benefiting from our long term economic plan. In Mildenhall, unemployment has fallen by 42% since April 2013. In Newmarket, it has fallen by 39%. Brandon has seen a 43% fall in unemployment and Haverhill a 38% drop since last year.
Horseracing is Britain’s second largest sport and with turnover of £3.5bn, the sport employs over 100,000 people and draws annual crowds of 6 million. It generated over £275m in tax in 2012, and over £1.4bn in the last five years.
